A web development company in Dubai that ships fast, bilingual websites for the whole region

Nexlla is a web development company founded in Dubai. Our web design and development team builds marketing websites, online stores, marketplaces and web apps for businesses in the UAE, the GCC and Syria. Every site is written in Arabic and English, built to load quickly on a phone, and handed over with code you own.

Left pane: the code. Right pane: the page it becomes. We work in the open the same way, on a staging link you can open any day of the build.

Five kinds of website, one engineering standard

  1. 01

    Marketing and company sites

For firms that win work on trust: clear service pages, people, proof and an enquiry path that does not feel like a funnel.

  2. 02

    Bilingual sites with true RTL

Arabic pages with mirrored layouts, Arabic typography and their own URLs, not a translation plugin painted over English templates.

  3. 03

    Online stores and marketplaces

Catalogue, search, cart and checkout with the payment methods each market expects, from card and Apple Pay to cash on delivery and local wallets.

  4. 04

    Portals and web apps

Logged-in areas where customers track orders, download files or book services, connected to the systems behind them. For deeper systems, see custom software and integrations.

  5. 05

    Revisions of an existing site

Not every project is a rebuild. For Dreamoro Book in Kuwait we revised navigation, discovery and the path to purchase while keeping what readers already knew.

Every build includes

  • Responsive layouts tested at 320 px
  • Arabic and English
  • A content dashboard your team can edit
  • Analytics that respect consent
  • SEO basics: titles, sitemap, structured data
  • A staging link
  • A runbook at handover

The numbers we build to

These are targets we set for every site, using Google's published thresholds. They are not claims about any client's results. Your plan names the pages we will measure and the device we measure on.

Largest Contentful Paint LCP

≤2.5s

The main content is visible before a visitor gives up.

Interaction to Next Paint INP

≤200ms

Taps and clicks respond without lag.

Cumulative Layout Shift CLS

≤0.1aim 0

Nothing jumps while someone is reading or tapping.

Build rules behind the targets
RuleTargetWhy it matters
FontsSelf-hosted, no third-party font callsFaster first paint and fewer privacy questions
ImagesWidth and height set, lazy below the foldNo layout jumps and less data on a mobile plan
AnalyticsLoaded only after consentFits UAE PDPL-aware and GDPR-aware practice

Core Web Vitals thresholds are published by Google and measured at the 75th percentile of real visits. We report them from field data where traffic allows, and from lab tests before launch.

Tools we choose per project

Front end
HTML and CSS first, TypeScript, React or Next.js where the interface needs it
Back end
Node, PHP (including Laravel) or Python
Data
Postgres, MongoDB, Redis
Content
Our own Website Dashboard, the dashboard your team edits in, or a headless CMS
Motion
CSS, SVG and WebGL with still fallbacks for older phones
Delivery
Docker, CI/CD pipelines, deploys to your accounts

tail -f build.log

A build log you can read

A typical marketing or company website takes 4–8 weeks. Stores, portals and multi-product platforms are phased, usually 8–16 weeks each. How we work, in detail.

  1. discovery call → written plan, fixed first milestone
  2. sitemap, page list, content owner for each page
  3. design of key pages in Arabic and English
  4. build on staging, reviewed in increments
  5. redirects, analytics, search console, speed check
  6. stabilisation, then handover: code, runbook, repo

Questions buyers ask us

01How much does a website cost in Dubai?

Nexlla quotes every website per project. Page count, languages, integrations and e-commerce drive the price. Our guide to website costs in the UAE and GCC sets out typical market ranges and a checklist for comparing quotes. Read the website cost guide.

02How long does it take to build a website?

A marketing or company site usually takes 4–8 weeks. Stores, portals and platforms are delivered in phases of about 8–16 weeks each.

03Should we use WordPress, Shopify or a custom build?

It depends on your catalogue, languages and integrations. A simple store can suit a hosted platform. Bilingual, integrated or unusual sites usually suit a custom build. Our comparison guide explains the trade-offs, and we recommend one in writing. WordPress vs Shopify vs custom.

04What does UAE PDPL mean for our website?

Websites that collect personal data need a clear privacy notice, a lawful basis and real consent for non-essential cookies. Our UAE PDPL guide covers the basics. It is general information, not legal advice. UAE PDPL website requirements.

05Can you take payments in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other GCC markets?

Yes. We scope the methods each market uses, such as mada in Saudi Arabia and KNET in Kuwait, and name each one in the plan.

06Can you build a website for customers in Syria?

Yes. Shaam Store runs a USD/SYP price switch, cash on delivery and payments through Sham Cash, Syriatel Cash, MTN Cash and bank transfer, with delivery to all 14 governorates. See the Shaam Store case study.

07Will our team be able to edit the site?

Yes. Content runs on our Website Dashboard or a headless CMS, so your team can edit pages, articles and languages without a developer. About the Website Dashboard.

08Who owns the website?

You do: the code, the content, the domain and the hosting accounts. The intellectual property transfers to you on delivery.
