GolStaking V1 & V2

Staking sits at an awkward intersection. The underlying mechanics are technical, the stakes are financial, and the audience ranges from confident crypto natives to newcomers who have never connected a wallet. GolStaking asked us to make that complexity feel calm, legible and trustworthy — first by establishing a solid core product, and later by maturing it into something that reads as a serious, scalable platform.

Overview

GolStaking is a blockchain-powered staking platform that lets users participate in digital asset staking through an interface designed to be clean, accessible and secure. We partnered across two distinct generations of the product. V1 established the foundations and proved the experience. Two years later, V2 lifted that foundation into a more mature, professional product without losing the clarity that made the first release work.

The throughline across both phases was a single conviction: in Web3, interface quality is not decoration. It is the most visible signal of whether a protocol can be trusted with someone's assets.

The Challenge

Most staking products force users to absorb the protocol's complexity. Lock periods, reward schedules, pool selection and transaction confirmations are presented as raw mechanics rather than guided decisions. The result is hesitation, abandoned flows and a quiet erosion of confidence at exactly the moment a user is being asked to commit funds.

For V1, the task was to build a complete staking experience from the ground up that made each of those moments understandable. For V2, the brief shifted: the product worked, but it still looked and felt like a functional tool. It needed to grow into a platform users would compare favourably with established SaaS products — without a disruptive rebuild that would unsettle existing users.

What We Designed and Built

V1 delivered the core staking experience end to end. We designed and engineered wallet connectivity, staking pools, reward visibility, clear lock-period information, user dashboards and the transaction flows that tie them together. Every screen was built to answer the user's quiet questions before they had to ask them: what am I committing, for how long, and what do I get back.

V2 was a substantial UI and UX transformation rather than a reskin. We rebuilt the product's surface and structure around a more mature visual system and stronger product thinking, focusing on the areas that most affect confidence and retention:

• Onboarding that guides newcomers through wallet connection and first stake with less friction
• A clearer visual hierarchy that separates critical decisions from supporting detail
• Dashboard usability so users can monitor assets, track staking performance and review rewards at a glance
• Mobile responsiveness that treats the phone as a primary surface, not an afterthought
• Trust cues woven through the interface — predictable states, transparent transaction feedback and a professional finish

Approach

We treated GolStaking as a SaaS product that happens to run on a blockchain. That framing changed how we made decisions. Rather than exposing protocol behaviour directly, we modelled the user's actual goals — staking, monitoring, reviewing rewards, withdrawing — and designed flows around those intentions, letting the on-chain complexity sit underneath.

Between V1 and V2 we let real usage inform the redesign. The second generation kept what already earned user trust and concentrated effort where the experience felt thin: the first session, the moments of decision, and the long-term relationship a user has with their dashboard. Continuity mattered. Returning users should feel the product had grown up, not been replaced.

The Experience

The finished platform feels considered at every step. Connecting a wallet is unintimidating. Choosing a pool is a guided decision with lock periods and rewards stated plainly rather than buried. The dashboard gives a confident, ordered view of what a user holds and what it is earning. Transactions communicate clearly at each stage, so the user always knows where they stand.

On mobile, the experience holds its shape — the same clarity and the same trustworthiness, sized for the device most people actually reach for.

Outcome and Impact

Across two generations, GolStaking moved from a capable staking tool to a polished, scalable Web3 product that combines blockchain functionality with the discipline of mature SaaS design. The platform now lets users monitor assets, track performance, review rewards and interact with the protocol through an interface that reads as professional and dependable.

The qualitative shift is the one that matters most in this category: the product looks and behaves like something worth trusting with your assets. That perception of credibility, carried consistently from onboarding through to the dashboard, is the foundation everything else in a staking platform is built on.
